Im at STL by the time Im typing this post. We have a briefing to attend to at the Centrepoint regarding our contract signing. On my way to Bandar, we passed by a school and I noticed individuals wearing school uniforms - students who are the future assets of our country. Reminiscing my school life especially during form six gives me a mixture of feelings indeed. Students in schools are bounded by laws which they are obliged to follow. Sometimes, there are times we are showered with 'countless' assignments or homeworks. I prefer to use 'countless' maybe its because whenever I feel there are many assignments to complete at a limited period of time, I tend to feel its like the assignments are so overwhelming to the point that I feel its endless despite the fact that the assignments are countable in reality X)
Are you missing the moments you wear those white school uniforms with/without tie?
To be honest, its a 'Yes' for me sometimes. Finishing my form 6 education, I am not obliged to wear such uniforms again, well I can if I want to..But thats optional since University life is so flexible.
For those who are not keen of wearing school uniforms, they might find University Life to be a good motivator since they can wear wide variety of clothing as long as the University is okay with it =)
To be honest, life as a student is similar to venturing into an unknown world, you learned something new almost everyday - may it be positive or negative. You made companions which may be compatible or incompatible with you. You face a degree of fear(may vary on oneself) when the examinations are coming. Sometimes you might encounter surprises in terms of outcomes of your efforts. Its an infinity itself =) so appreciate your life as a student =]
These are my opinions though and im not that knowledgeable..I believe you can find abundant of superb posts out there telling you the fun of being an individual called 'student' =)
Welcome to my blog. I am currently an undergraduate student studying BSc.Hons.Geology in the University of Liverpool. Starting from 19th June 2010, I am a third year student and thus, my final year in the institution.

Death Race
25th August
Hanged out with Leevoi & Amin today...It was fun & cool~
I was fetched up from my home around 20 mins to 2pm and got back home around near to 8pm. We watched 'Death Race' at the mall's cinema.
It has been years I havent watch movies in any cinemas. Its because I didnt find cinemas to be interesting at all. And now I've changed a bit to the extent that I FINALLY liking cinemas Lol. Yeah, its kinda loud but the audio's kinda nice, not to mention the Huge screen X)
Anyways, personally, for me, 'Death race' is an excellent movie. If you're looking for car-battle type of movies, you ought to watch this movie. You know twisted metal? 'Death race' is like a combination of diffrent concepts. Twisted metal, gladiators and need for speed burnout concepts somehow make this movie to be a BLAST!
Eventhough there are some brutal scenes, there are some cool never-to-be-missed-out scenes too including how 'Frank' & machinegun Joe team up to finish off the deadly dreadnought =)
We went to Arcade after that to get our hands dirty on some of the 'stuffs' there including time crisis & Hot Shot. I didnt play the hot shot though. Just time crisis & this 'collect the ducks' eggs' thing...
Then we went to another arcade where we met one of our friends~chatted and played some games there starting with this 'hockey-like' game and later DDR(dance-dance revolution)...
We decided to k-box in the 1st arcade we went before. And I have to admit the k-boxing moments were super Fun lol~
Had Jerudong's Nasi Katok(I forgot the place though and I think its my first time going to that place..) for dinner and went straight home.
Thanks to my two guy friends Leevoi & Amin XD I had fun guys..At least sampat jua tane hangout kan before depart hehe.

Question:Are you 'homozygous'?
Have someone asked you about your sexual preference?
Question: are you gay/lesb,bi or straight?
And sometimes do you ever experience the case where the person who asked you that question would doubt the answer you gave to him/her?
Maybe the person hopes that you are gay/lesb =) so congratulations he/she is interested in you
This thing usually occurs in social networking sites including friendster and I do have to admit I have experienced something like that as well. I have also received some peculiar messages in my shoutbox before. And I have to admit I was very annoyed when a guy asks me about my sexual preference. This happens a lot so Im used to it already nowadays =)
As a result of attracting gays & bis, I have been making friends with them. I mean there's no wrong to make friends with them right?
I feel sympathy to them...Though I dont mean to say if I were to get proposed, I would accept it..Thats totally wrong. I have experienced something like that too and I rejected all of em. I have my own reasons and some I wouldnt mention in my blog since I dont want to get accused for touching sensitive issues in 'the world of blogging' but one solid reason..
Psssttt...Im straight lol X)
But trust me, Its okay to have gay,bi or lesb friends. If you're worried, just say to yourself 'as long as im not influenced =) '

HRD with my pen you
14th August
I decided to go to HRD with Leevoi as there's something about Liverpool that day. Fortunately Leevoi's willing to give me a ride to HRD, thanks man X)
The Mini talk scheduled to be 5pm till 7pm. It was informative though and we got the chance to ask our seniors about few bits of pieces about the Uni itself.
Both of us decided to go strolling around the Mall Gadong after that since Leevoi was searching for this dvd and I wanted to show Leevoi Bingo's clothes too. Too bad that I forgot which floor is Bingo,my bad xp anyways it was cool since we met two of our schoolmates there.
So we just went back to Tutong to have our dinner in a restaurant. Then off we go to home lol

Away Day 2008
19th aug
Away Day is basically an event which is held annually for the students to gather up to share various informations,opinions and experiences. Well, there are more reasons actually. We, as the juniors will have the chance to ask our seniors about various stufs including how to prepare ourselves to face our University life. This year, the committe decided to make it on 18th August(monday). I had a lot of fun especially due to the fact that I can gather up with my friends,cousin and seniors. We had some fun activities in the morning - Ice-breaking, aerobics&hand-ball@beach, Ice-breaking 2 and platform building.
To the interested readers, if you're wondering, here are some extra infos :-
P/S:In each activities, we were assigned to different groups.
ICe-breaking-basically, we had to write positive comments about our group mates and the group which has the most abundant positive comments accumulated is the winner. Personally,I think this activity stimulates your positive thinking about a person =)
Beach activities-we started with aerobics before the hand-ball game. For the hand-ball game, we were assigned with different group mates again but this time its based on animal groups. So, we had to make some distinctive actions of the animal to find our team mates which I think was quite hilarious and fun process LOL. I was under the Fish though =)
Ice-breaking 2-By this time,each participants had been assigned to different groups again via means of Countries' flags. Mine was Thailand. We were given some coloured candies. Basically, what each of us had to do was actually take four candies and each candy represents a question which we had to answer in front all of our team mates. So, this activity enable us to learn more about our team mates especially in terms of their goals in life.
Plaform building-Sticks(the ones they use for Satays), scissor, and a roll of string were given to each group to build the highest platform BUT it must able to withstand the weight of a big bottle of mineral water(SEHAT, Suci etc.) which was quite tough though lol. But, this activity encourages one to be able to work in a team effectively.

In the afternoon, we had a talk by a staff from Brunei Shell Learning & Training Center. We did some activities as well and one of them require some sort of presentation. And I did the presentation on behalf of my group. At first, I didnt want to since i was too shy and worried I cant explain effectively since I dont know how it feels like to study abroad. But I have to admit, I like doing presentations though and I was carried away aka talked too much but it was a nice experience though since its been few months after my last attachment presentation.

In the night, we dressed up for the 70s night which was held at BSRC. Mine was simple though and I decided to experiment a bit with my hair lol. The foods were so yummy~SERIOUSLY esp.the beef and fruit tart =)
Since digi-cams are so widely-used nowadays, we took many pictures~I had a good time during the 70s night!!!!

I would like to thank the committee members who organized this year's Away Day. Their hard work is highly-appreciated. I really like the shirt and the souvenier guys =)

Precious mini reunion - Excapade

12th August
Spent my evening with my three close friends from Mahad - Aziim,Aizat & Iznan...we're the four 'Zusketeers' lol. Its because our names have 'Z' which for me is a coincidence hehe. Credits to Aziim, thanks man for proposing the mini reunion plan =) otherwise it wouldnt turn out just like last night. Okay, let me start with some intros first eyh, four of us were once classmates back in Mahad. I've been friends with them for a long long time yet we couldn't meet each other ever since we finished our form 5 studies in Mahad. So, the only method we can keep n touch with each other is via msn or SMS.
I haven't meet Iznan & Aziim for almost two and a half years so that reunion was really meaningful. Had my Form 6 with Aizat so its easy for me to keep in touch with him and I always consult my lovelife problems with him during my form 6 lol.
Basically my friendship duration with each of them is as following :-
Aziim- 4 years(I knew him since 2003 but we started to be classmates in 2004)
Aizat- 9 years(knew him since 1999)
Iznan- 8 years(knew him since 2000)
Through a series of 'miraculous' events, I gradually became close with them till now and I have to admit its hard for me to find friends like them(im being honest here*smile). So I really treasure our friendships as I've been friends with them for quiet a long time. And I think its hard to find close friends especially if one starts working. Nevertheless, I dont neglect the fact that one can make some close friends throughout his working period.
Alright, enough with the intros...to cut the story short, four of us had reached a conclusion to have our mini reunion at Excapade Gadong. Big Thanks to Aziim for his willingness to fetch us up at Tutong. Thanks Ziim xp
Our reservation time was 7.00pm and we reached Gadong around a quarter to 6.00pm so we had to 'waste' our time somewhere else HEHE. Starting with this gift shop at Centrepoint which I think is a very cool shop cuz they have cool toys and stuffs suitable for gifts(hence, a gift shop LOL). I was really amazed they are selling some kind of medal with texts inscribed on them like 'The best Mom', 'The best Dad' including some dirty titles that I should'nt mention here lol.
Went to Uni Arcade after that since its not 7pm by the time we left that gifts shop...and we decided to take some photos using this photo machine(I dont know they call it lol). We had fun during that 'taking photos' moment. We decided to divide the pics into 24 pieces so that each of us has the 6 different pictures to make it fair lol. By that time its already near to 7pm so off we go to Excapade to munch on Sushis~
I dont know how many plates we ordered but Im finally in love with sushis...yeah, I am stubborn indeed. I started to like sushis after a few attempts to Excapade~~but it aint easy mate....BIG THANKS TO 'Unagi Fire cheese'~I think its new cuz saw 'new' sign on the 'Unagi Fire cheese' picture....and Big thanks to my friend,Aziim for ordering so many different dishes..so im gradually loving Ecapade. Since its a precious reunion, I took some pictures as well lol. One thing for sure, I love my 5A Mahad friends =) its difficult for me to find friends like you guys so...be PROUD aziim,aizat and iznan HAHA. I'll miss ya guys,DEFINITELY (= DO take care ah.
~~~~Extra~~~~
Excapade: Dear Azree/Aizril.what do yew like about Excapade?
ME :Alrite, if u mean the sushis....Im in love with your 'Unagi Fire cheese' alright
Excapade : why unagi fire cheese,bui?
The bake bake
I was jobless at home and at the same time I was craving for honey cornflakes or also known as 'honey joys'. I tried to make some last week and got some positive responses. And I decided to make more honey joys as my girlfriend's present. So I decided to make some yesterday. To be honest, after few attempts I just realized baking is'nt easy eventhough the easy-to-bake honey joys lol. I made 6th badges of honey joys which were quite tiring as I put them in paper cups....And one of the badges I made was overcooked lol aka 'burnt joys'. After making the honey joys, I decided to make some chocolate cornflakes. Frankly speaking, I just tried to experiment with the ingredients as I dont have any syrup so I just replaced it with honey. Thank God,I got positive responses for my 1st chocolate cornflakes lol.
I decided to make some honey joys for a friend as well lol. I just did'nt expect that I am willing to bake for a girl lol. I mean I did think bout baking or baking for girls before. But this time its different, a somewhat stong force had driven me to bake for 'wo de nue pen you'. Maybe its just that Im willing to bake or cook for a girl as long as she's my 'nue pen you' or friends that I feel comfortable with.
And fyi, im a type of guy who's not good with baking lol.....but I have to admit that baking is kinda fun especially when you have nothing to do lol.So, if you're planning to start baking osmething, try honey joys which for me is the easiest so far. You can search for the recipe on the internet =)
So called "family week"
Went to the 'perayaan' at Bandar with my family on Tuesday night(29th July).It was cool and very very crowded.You can see lots of things there.From clothing to wonderful types of foods lol. Fancy ballons were being sold as well...quite attractive you know,big love-shaped ballons lol. I really wanted to try the lamb chops sold in one of the food stall there, My sister's boyfriend recommended it. So I bought the lamb chop for $5. And, to my surprise, they gave many pieces of lamb meat for that $5 note eyh. Luckily I was craving for lamb meat. Basically we divided into two groups, all the kids were with my parents while us,comprising of my bro,sis,her bf and me aka 'orang-orang besar sikit' went to search for foods. Fortunately we managed to find an empty table on one of the food stall and sat there, munching our lamb chops after ordering our drinks. Too bad,the sauce for the lamb chops were finished so we just ate them plain. But still,they were very delicious indeed(my goodness,I just fear bout my weight after all the lamb meats I had last week lol). We ordered some chicken satay from the nearest stall too. The satay were so yummy too!
The next day we went to the Majlis Ilmu at ICC which provided me some useful informations. They even gave souveneirs to the visitors. Had our lunch at the Mall's food court. I had chinese fried rice with beef steaks which was quite tasty and worth the money...
Okay let see...
I had Kebab with lamb meat from London Kebab on Sunday(27th)
I ate some of the lamb chops that my father made before we went to the 'perayaan' on 29th
I had some beef steaks during my lunch on 30th
I hope my weight is'nt affected =s
