My first netball?????

I decided to play netball with my seniors along with leevoi and nai last saturday..we played from around 11-ish to 12pm or so...it was SUPER DUPER FUN...i didnt regret having my muscles overstrained after the game =D

Its not a Bruneian-only netball though..we played with Malaysians as well..and what's good was that there were no any so called Bruneians Vs.Malaysians...each group consisted of almost equal amount of both =)

That was my first netball experience so i just know little about it and still learning the netball way hehe~I was assigned as 'GD' which is Goal-defender???im not sure about it though..i forgot what's GD =p it was fun being GD since i have to focus on the opposing team's GA if im not mistaken X) being perplexed, i had to ask lots of questions to our opponent's GA which was a Malaysian..good thing she was not irritated by my questions lol..

So i played as GD, and the more i play the more i learn and you know what? screw me! i like being GD although i have to admit its kinda difficult lol..and i have to agree i played a bit rough..i just dashed towards the GA whenever the ball was reaching her..i almost terlanggar her lol =s

but its okay...i just neaaaarrrrly terlanggar..not just once..few times =p after playing a while, i realized that i was low on stamina yeahhh...lol..i do have a low stamina if you ask me ;D

anyhoots, i was soooo influenced by 'preventing the ball from reaching GA'...so i played netball my own way lol..instead of netball..i turned it to be semi netball volleyball HAHA yeah, its funny really..i hit the ball instead of catching it with my two hands???!! There was even so called 3-combo hits of mine lol...i hit the ball, then it somehow kinda dropping down and i hit it again(2-hit comco) then when it was 'flying' freely in the air I then give it a "HAAAH!!!" which is another hit but this time i use two hands just like in volleyball(if im not mistaken since some seniors recalled about it saying i played like volleyball hee)..so there you go..a threehit combo hehe..

Then we had a break and later continued our 'war' GRR...this time im the GK...which has a role to prevent any shooters from getting their 'dirty' hands on my hot net lol..this time its really tough, my senior is soooooo good at being GA...she even moved so fast, i couldnt predict at all...lol..and yeah, played a bit ganas again, i almost hit her head =s yikes me...

And there i go again..i played like volleyball huhu..a senior said to me from a distance "azree, bukan volleyball ne" lol..whooopppsss =s i think the volleyball method kinda slowly turning into my so called 'reflex'..but it was nice though lol..some of my attempts to hit the ball resulted in the ball being grabbed by one of my team mates..neverthelss, some just make things worse(the opponent managed to get the ball after it was hit by me)

Well, it was awesome!!! I think I wanna play again next time =D i had a wonderful feeling...plus i was craving for sports too lol..lucky me, the netball was held at the uni's sports complex
