Day 7 - Amroth, our final location for the Pembrokeshire Wales fieldtrip~and the day i got my feedbacks on my assignments that we did in the field over the past few days..i was feeling down actually as the thought of failing this module was haunting me ever since i received my Abereiddy sheet and cross-section of the fold in Abereiddy.
I was fortunate enough since Maggie decided to aid me in making the final sedimentary log which was very tough actually since there were many structures and features like grain sizes, whether they were any change in grain sizes or not, whether they are silt, coarse silt, clay, very fine, fine, medium grained..mann talking about the final day of the fieldtrip.
on top of that, eventhough it was sunny, it was also COLD! and i was shivering mann -.-" even reached the point where my hands were numb so i did find it hard to write and draw in the sedimentary log~we had our lunch there with the cold. Being tired and cold, I had to go through that stressful day X) knowing that our fieldtrip was coming to its end..
I even couldnt hold my bladder anymore so i had to go to the toilet which was a bit far from the locality~upon the wrapping-up session, we were given approximately one and a half hour by the time we get back to our caravan to do some palaeogeographical environment and to tidy up the A3 summary sheet. Our field notebooks were marked already by this day since I saw Jim and Charlotte were marking them while we were doing our sedimentology logs of Amroth. Arriving to our caravan, I had to do some work since time was racing towards us till the time reaching the one and a half hour deadline!
after that, the feelings where you feel as if a large boulder sitting on your back finally being lifted off were engulfing me..how dramatic lol..i was excited..did some packing, dinner and guess what, me and Joyyee watched news@10 on the TV and we found out that there was a terrorist attack in John Moores University's library~we were so surprized indeed but it was okay, there were no casualties if im not mistaken.
The END of our 7 days fieldtrip =D
